<h1>Annette Montgomery</h1> 1925 – 2009 Passed away peacefully at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener, on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at the age of 83 years. Sadly missed by her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, Hugh, children Hulene Montgomery and her husband Michael Graham and Mark Montgomery and his wife Laurie Maxwell; grandchildren Heather Montgomery (Tom) and their daughter Imogen; Victoria Montgomery (Nick) and Luke Montgomery. Survived by her sister Vivian Johnston (Ray) and brother-in-law Bill Montgomery and sister-in-law Lulubelle Montgomery. Annette will be dearly missed also by several nieces and nephews as well as the wide circle of friends that she knew and loved. Predeceased by her mother, Stella Hurlburt and her brothers, Ron and Ken Hurlburt. Annette loved children –her own and those she taught. She was a gifted and dedicated special education teacher with the Waterloo Region Board of Education. Throughout her life, she was an active member of her church and served as a volunteer with several community agencies in Ayr where she lived and in Cambridge where she taught. Friends are invited to share their memories of Annette with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Wednesday, July 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 16 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home, with the Rev. Shirley Ruller officiating. Reception to follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the Funeral Home. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo. The family wishes to thank the special staff and friends at Sunnyside home for their continual care and loving understanding shown to Annette, Hugh and their family.
