Passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, in her 87th year.
Helen Seyler, born in Phillipsburg, Ontario and former resident of Kitchener and Elmira, was the beloved wife of 64 years of Lloyd A. Lautenschlager. Dearly loved mother of Larry and wife Carol of Elmira, Judy Mundell and husband John of Orillia. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Jeff) Beisel, Jeffery (Penny) and Gregory (Adrienne ) Lautenschlager, Erin (Jeremy) Carpenter, Andrew and Matthew Mundell, and great grandmother of Rebecca and Tyson Lautenschlager, Kayla and Courtney Beisel.
Dear sister of Hilda Hohl (Elmer predeceased) of Kitchener and Wilfred Seyler and wife Rita of Wellesley. Aunt Helen will also be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother Edgar and his wife Catherine.
Mrs. Lautenschlager was a long-time and faithful member of Holy Cross Lutheran in Kitchener and the Historical Automobile Society of Canada.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Helen with her family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm Sunday. The funeral service to celebrate Helens life and faith will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 322 East Ave. Kitchener, on Monday, July 16th, 2007 at 1 pm. Interment at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Petersburg.
