Obituary of Margaret McKenzie

<h1>Margaret McKenzie</h1> 1929 – 2008 Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with kidney failure, surrounded by her loving family on July 10, 2008. She will be greatly missed by her children Kenneth (Denise) of London, Ian (Debbie) of Cambridge, and Scott (Cindy) of Waterloo. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Derek, Mark, Ryan, Michael and Brent; step-grandchildren Cailean and Ian; and great-granddaughter Abbigale. Margaret is also survived by her dear brother, Dr. Ross Collie (Rusty) of Wyoming; sister-in-law Linda LaBarge of Arizona; nieces Gillian Collie of Colorado, Heather Chase of Vermont; nephew, Richard Collie of New York. Margaret’s parents Richard Scott Collie and Mary Muirhead Collie came to Canada from Scotland. Margaret’s spirit and will during the past five years was unbelievable, always smiling and never complaining. A memorial service to celebrate Margaret’s life will be held in the chapel of the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 1 p.m., visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:30 a.m. -12:45 p.m. Reception to follow. The family would like to thank the ICU, Dialysis and Acute Care medical staff at Grand River Hospital for their tenacious efforts.
