Obituary of Edward Scott

<h1>Edward Scott</h1> 1930 – 2010 Passed away peacefully at Lanark Heights on January 7, 2010 in his 80th year. Devoted father of Doug Scott (Sherry Blish), Steve Scott (Daphne) and Kim Scott (Steve Martin). Cherished grandfather of Ellen and Alexander Scott. Also survived by his brothers, Blake Scott (Alice) and Jack Scott; by sister, Muriel Byard; and sister-in-law Eleanor Good. Predeceased by his beloved wife Bernice in 2008; his son, Tom Scott in 2003; and by parents, William Scott and Alberta nee Runnenberg. Ted was active in his hometown of Petersburg both within his church, Emmanuel Lutheran and the community at large, serving on the Park Board and the Optimist Club. Visitation will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home, the Rev. Richard Orlowski officiating. Reception will follow the service. Interment in Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Petersburg in the spring.
