<h1>Ernie Kieswetter</h1> 1923 – 2010 It is with great sadness that the family of Ernie Kieswetter announces his passing on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at KW Health Centre in his 87th year. Beloved husband of June nee Dunbrook for 64 years. Devoted father of Brenda (John) Semple, Tom (Linda) Kieswetter, Debbie Kennedy, and Bill (Cheryl) Kieswetter. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jason, Joseph (Roshan), and Jeffrey (Shannon) Semple, Amanda Kieswetter (fiancé John Finch) and Mathew Kieswetter, Kristina Kennedy (fiancé Justin Kirk) and Kate, Luke and Samantha Kieswetter. Great-grandfather of Aidan, Liam and Sara Semple. Also survived by his sister, Rita Moxon and sister-in-law, Cleo Featherstone. Ernie was a veteran of the Second World War serving as an Air Force pilot. He was the former president of the R.C.A.F. Branch 404 Wing and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Waterloo. In his spare time he was an avid curler and golfer, a lifetime supporter of Waterloo Warriors basketball and a renowned verbal harasser of basketball officials. Visitation will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. The 404 Wing RCAFA will conduct a Poppy Ceremony at 3 p.m. and Parish Prayers will take place at 8:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 173 Lourdes St., Waterloo on Friday, January 8, 2010 at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Edward Sheridan as celebrant. Reception will immediately follow the service.
