<h1>Edith McLeod</h1> 1925 – 2010 Passed away with family at her side, at the Village of Winston Park, Kitchener, on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at the age of 84 years. Beloved sister of Sheila Moore of Waterloo and Olive (John) Davan of Shelbourne. Predeceased by her sisters, Catherine McKechnie of Toronto, Violet (Bill) Milne of Edinburgh, Scotland and brother-in-law Elmer Moore of Waterloo. She was a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed. Edith was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 1949. She worked as a bookkeeper in Toronto for many years, residing in Scarborough and spending time at her cottage on Georgian Bay. Honouring Edith’s personal request cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to share in a celebration of Edith’s life at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in the Covenant Chapel, 54 Queen Street N., Kitchener, on Saturday, January 16th at 1 pm. Reception to follow. Edith’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses in the Special Care Unit at the Village of Winston Park for all of their wonderful care and concern shown to Edith these past 10 years.
