It is with great sadness that the family of James McKenna announces his passing at Freeport Health Centre on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the age of 88.
Predeceased by his wife Reta (nee Reinhart); son, David McKenna; grandson, Sean McKenna and sister, Rose McKenna.
Loving father of Susan (Greg) Hoflinger. Cherished grandfather of Kyle and Evan Hoflinger and Christine McKenna. James was a devoted uncle to his very special niece, Florence Semple, and great-uncle to her children Angie, Maureen and David. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Sharon McKenna and brother, John McKenna. James will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his best friend and partner Glady Hergott.
Friends are invited to share their memories of James with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S. Waterloo, on Friday, January 8, 2010 from 10-10:45 a.m. The memorial service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m.
