<h1>Alexander "Sandy" Murison</h1> 1940 – 2009 Passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at the age of 68 years. Loving husband for 42 years of Margaret (nee Anderson). Devoted father of David (Wanda) Murison and Fiona (Shawn) Jamieson. Cherished Grandpa of Michael Jamieson. Survived by his brothers Leslie (Barbara), Andrew and John (Alison) Murison, and by his brother-in-law Alistair (Fiona) Anderson. Predeceased by his parents Charles Murison and Helen (nee Smith). Sandy and his family came to Canada from Scotland nearly thirty years ago, settling first in Winnipeg. They came to the Kitchener-Waterloo area in 1985. He worked as a mechanical engineer for NCR and retired after twenty one years of service there. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Friends are invited to share their memories of Sandy with his family during memorial visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, January 7 from 7-9 p.m. The memorial service to celebrate his life will take place at Mount Zion Lutheran Church, 29 Westmount Rd. S., Waterloo on Thursday, January 8 at 2 p.m., the Rev. Tanya Ramer officiating. Reception to follow in the Church Hall. Cremation has taken place and a family interment will be held at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
