<h1>Robert Halford</h1> 1924 – 2009 Passed away peacefully, at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the age of 84. Bob is survived by his son Randy (Anna) Halford of Toronto, his step-daughter Holly Wright of Connecticut and his daughter-in-law Cheryl Halford of Texas. He will also be missed by his granddaughters Lisa Halford-Glew of Waterloo and Stacey (Bill) Friday of Pittsburgh; great-grandchildren; Madison, Brady, Mitchell, Baden, Camryn, his sister Thelma Barker, and many nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his beloved wife Jean in October 2008, his son Roger Halford in 2004, his brothers Len, Alex, and Don and his sisters Bernice, Frankie and Dorothy. Bob grew up in Hamilton and always remained an avid Tiger Cats fan. He began his career with the Tuckett Tobacco Company in Hamilton, transferred to Montreal, remained with the company throughout his career and retired as Distribution Manager of Imperial Tobacco in 1986. He and Jean relocated to Waterloo in 1988 and continued to spend time at their Florida home with friends and family each winter. Along with his life-long interest in cars and sports, time on the golf course and family gatherings were his priorities. Friends are invited to share their memories of Bob with his family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Friday, February 6th, 2009 from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 7th at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow at White Chapel Cemetery, Hamilton.
