<h1>H. Joseph Pychel</h1> 1928 – 2009 Passed away suddenly on Friday, January 30, 2009 at the age of 80 years. Joe will be remembered by his loving soul-mate and beloved wife of 57 years, Mary; cherished father of Lynn (Kirk Walker) of Waterloo and Brian (Lisa Pychel) of Welland; beloved Grandfather/Gido to Erin, Brad and Deanna Walker of Waterloo and Ashley, Robert and Michael Pychel of Welland. Will be missed by his nieces, nephew and cousins. Predeceased by his parents, Fred and Anna Pychel of Waterloo. Joe was born and raised in Waterloo and lived here all his life. He worked for the Canadian National Railway and Canada Customs and Excise, from which he retired as a superintendant. He had a passion for sports. He loved golfing, bowling and was a former member of Rockway Golf Club. Joe was a quiet and compassionate man whose love for his family was unsurpassed. He will be dearly missed and always remembered. Friends are invited to share their memories of Joe with his family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Monday, February 2nd, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Tuesday, February 3 from 10 am to 10:45 a.m. A celebration of Joseph’s life will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with a reception immediately following. Cremation and a private family internment will take place at a later date at Parkview Cemetery.
