Passed away, peacefully, surrounded by his children, at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener, on January 30, 2008 at the age of 84 years.
Beloved husband of 59 years to the late Marjorie Ziegler (nee Clemmer, 2005). Loving father of Nancy Houghtling and her husband Mike, Ronald Ziegler and his wife Debbie, Danny Ziegler and his wife Kathy, Kathy VonWitzenhausen and her husband Uwe, Robert Ziegler Jr., and Christine Witmer and her husband Danny. Proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Robert is also survived by two sisters. Predeceased by his son Timmy and two sisters.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Robert with his family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King Street South in Waterloo on Saturday, February 2, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Cremation to follow. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo at a later date.
