He later moved to Waterloo, Ontario where he raised his family and spent 34 very happy years with the Arrow Shirt division of Cluett, Peabody Company of Canada. Cecil was confined to a wheelchair from the age of 25, and always turned this adversity into great strength. He took much joy in driving his hand-controlled cars, spent many hours creating wooden toys and game boards in his home workshop, and had a true enthusiasm and love of hockey. Cecil’s greatest gift to others was his friendship and he was a devoted and cherished friend to many. He very much appreciated his longstanding friends Bill and Dean Smith, Steve and Helen Zalobka, Ed and the late Kathy Bishop and Joe Kapron who was so much help these last few years. Friends are invited to share their memories of Cecil during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday, February 1 from 7-9 pm.
