Obituary of John Schwing

<h1>John Schwing</h1> 1953 – 2008 John passed away peacefully, on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. He was 54. He is survived by his loving family, wife Linda; son, John Schwing and Barb Horton of Cambridge and daughter, Jenny Schwing and Bill Matthias of Kitchener. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Sommer, Starla, Isaac, Boedy and Dexter and his brothers, and sisters, Kathy and her husband Gerry Eichler of New Hamburg, Bill Scwhing of Petersburg, Joanne and her husband Bob Dobbin of Waterloo and Dave Schwing of Ladysmith, BC. He was predeceased by an infant son, Jake; sister, Mary Schwing and parents, Florence (Giilck) and William Schwing. Friends are invited to share their memories of John with his family at the Erb&amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday at 3 p.m. Following cremation, interment will take place in Memory Gardens. Immediately following the service, friends and relatives are invited to the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home for refreshments and a time to visit with the family.
