Obituary of Maria Rempel

<h1>Maria Rempel</h1> 1911 – 2007 Maria died peacefully after a long and full life, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Sunday, January 28, 2007. She was in her 96th year. Maria will be lovingly remembered by her brother Ben Rempel of Ridgeville ON; sister-in-law Pearl Rempel of Waterloo; her best friend Henry Harder; many nieces, nephews and their families. She was a faithful member of W-K United Mennonite Church and retired from Uniroyal where she worked for 44 years. She was predeceased by her parents Elizabeth Goossen and Bernhard Rempel; sisters and brother, Elizabeth Reimer and her husband Abe, Katie Koop and her husband Nicholas, Frank Rempel, Annie Kumm and her husband Emil, Alice Peters and her husband Ike; sister-in-law Mary-Ann Rempel; niece Sally Wagner and nephew Jim Rempel. Friends are invited to share their memories of Maria with her family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at 11 am, with Rev. Nancy Brubaker officiating. Interment to follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo.
