Tom died peacefully at home, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his family and friends on Sunday morning, January 24, 2010.
Loving husband of Mary (nee Bingeman) for 22 years. Nurturing father of Reuben (friend Madeline), Rachel (friend Michael), and Daniel. Dear son of Marjorie Musselman; brother of Peter Musselman, Peggy Snyder, and John Musselman (Kathy); dear son-in-law of Dora Bingeman; brother-in-law of Fran Bingeman, Pat Pietrek, John Bingeman (Marg), Jim Bingeman (Alenka), Peter Bingeman (Jan), Lisa Yantzi (Steve), and Marshall Bingeman (Kim). Caring uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his father Reuben Musselman, father-in-law Jonas Bingeman, and brother-in-law James Snyder.
Tom was an active member of Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church and carried his faith into all aspects of his life. He spent the last 20 years operating T. Musselman Excavating and delighted in many years of playing baseball and hockey. His greatest joy was Saturdays working with his family on the family farm. Tom has been a faithful and steadfast friend to many and will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Tom during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, January 26 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, January 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to honour Toms life and faith will be held at Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church, 57 Stirling Ave. N., Kitchener on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Marilyn Rudy-Froese officiating. Interment at Mannheim Mennonite Cemetery. Reception to follow.
