Obituary of Cicco De Ciro De Cicco

Ciro De Cicco
1929 – 2009 The De Cicco family on January 24, 2009, endured the loss of its beloved patriarch Ciro. He is survived by loving wife of 56 years Immacolata (Gina), son Andrew and wife Christine; daughters Cristina Ramirez and husband Everardo, Maria Speyer and husband Christopher and Eugenia De Cicco and partner James. His ten grandchildren will miss his wisdom, his humour and his grace. Mr. De Cicco was a loving father and husband, as well as a true pioneer. He immigrated to Canada in July 1967 with Gina and their young children from Naples, Italy, where he owned a small business. He carried his entrepreneurial spirit to Waterloo where he soon established, together with Gina, a number of businesses. Today, Intercosmetics, a beauty products manufacturer, distributor and wholesale business, Gina’s Health and Beauty Spa and Gina’s College of Aesthetics are thriving successful companies that bear his unmistakable imprint. He was active in his social life as a past President of the Italian Cortina Club. He was also a founding member of the Centro Sociologico Italiano di Toronto, Loggia Giuseppe Garibaldi. Ciro leaves us with a legacy of love and an indomitable spirit; one that will live on in his children, grandchildren, and all those whose lives he touched.
