<h1>Shirley Routliffe</h1> (nee Gilpin) 1938 – 2009 Passed away peacefully, at Toronto Western Hospital, on Wednesday, January 21, 2009. Cherished wife of K. Earle for 48 years. Beloved mother of Keith and friend Jennifer, Doug and his wife Nadine, Don, and Cheryl and her husband Scott Simpson. Also survived by her grandchildren Matthew, Tyler, Jill, Scott, Chad, Michael, Jacob, and Seth. Shirley will be sadly missed by her brother Elwood “Mac” Gilpin of Manitoulin Island, sister Mary Cockerill of Roblin, Manitoba, and sisters-in-law Marge (Dave) Peters of Kelowna B.C., Anne (Dan) Somerville of Hingham, Mass, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Earl and Maryann Gilpin, and brothers George and Lewis Gilpin. Friends are invited to share their memories of Shirley with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. South, Waterloo, on Sunday, January 25 from 7-9 p.m., visitation will continue on Monday, January 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Bethany Evangelical Missionary Church, 160 Lancaster St. E., Kitchener, on Tuesday, January 27, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
