<h1>Gail Reynolds</h1> 1950 – 2009 Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends, on Friday, January 2, 2009, at the age of 58. Gail is survived by her beloved husband Jim of 32 years, her loving children Leslie and Kristen both of Toronto and Michael of Waterloo. She is also survived by her parents, Audrey and Harold Campbell of Windsor, her sister Lynda (Larry) Sandre of Tecumseh and their children Christopher and Matthew, her aunt Freida Dougherty and cousin David Dougherty all of Ottawa. Gail will also be remembered by her sister-in-law Jacqueline Reynolds and her children Breanne, Patrick and Michael and brother-in-law Bill (Cindy) Reynolds and their children Matthew and Sara and very special friends Gwen and Dave Holland of Orangeville who recently celebrated a 34th consecutive New Year’s together with Gail and Jim. Gail graduated from the University of Windsor in 1972. She was a Manager in the budgets and results department with Bell Canada telecommunications until 1979 when she chose to devote her time to family and later became an advisor to Padre Software of Waterloo in 2001. Gail met Jim in 1969 at a summer resort in the Muskoka’s, dated throughout university and they were later married in 1976. After living in Toronto they settled in Waterloo to raise their family. Gail was a member of the Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW), member of the Westmount Golf and Country Club, the Gourmet 1 club and a dedicated volunteer. She was very active with the K-W Synchro Club and supportive of both of her daughters’ participation in the sport. She served as President and Past President of the K-W Synchro Club, loved welcoming and meeting new members as Membership Registrar and became a judging official for Synchro Ontario events. In 2002 she was recognized by Parks and Recreation Ontario and awarded the Certificate of Merit for eight years of volunteer contributions to women’s athletics in K-W. She was particularly proud when her peers at the K-W Synchro Club nominated her to receive outstanding volunteer awards from both the City of Kitchener and City of Waterloo for her numerous contributions. Friends are invited to share their memories of Gail with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday, January 6th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 7th at 11am in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Jack Paleczny officiating. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. A very special thanks from the family is extended to the doctors and nurses at the Grand River Hospital – 6th floor oncology and the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre for their tremendous efforts and support.
