<h1>Kenneth Warrington</h1> Precious husband to Hilda Beatrice (Clyde) of Waterloo, passed away peacefully at Leisure World, Elmira, on Tuesday, January 19, 2010, with his wife and family by his bedside in his 83rd year. He was a wonderful father to Clyde (Janice Clarke) of Cambridge, Brian ( John McGill) of Fergus, and Karen (Lee Recchia) of Elmira. He is also survived by sisters Christine Roy of Montreal, Dorothy Drake of Arundel and sisters in law Hilda Warrington of Arundel and Elsie Voyce of Carleton Place. Loving Grampy/Poppa to Michael, Kirk, Katharine, Stefan, Laura, Paul, Ian, Melinda ,and Amber. Great grandfather of Connor, Zach and India. Predeceased by brothers Leonard and Fenton and sister Mabel. Son of Leonard and Lilly . Ken was born in Montreal Aug.. 6, 1927. He spent much of his career in heavy construction equipment, beginning at Mussens Equipment Ltee., in Montreal. He would join Mussens in Quebec City as manager of finance in 1957, where he was also president of the Jaycees and a billeting organizer for the annual hockey Tournoi des Peewee.. Ken was appointed to the Mussens affiliate in Ottawa in 1974 as branch manager, then joined Valley Contractors in Ottawa as General Manager. In 1984 he left Ottawa to work with his good friend the late Sid Brown as assistant general manager at Advance Construction in Kitchener, where he remained until retiring. He will forever be remembered as a warm, gregarious man with a most demonstrative sense of humour. He will be greatly missed by a number of nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Leisure World for the exemplary care and love they afforded Ken during his illness. Friends and family are invited to a memorial visitation on Friday January 22 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S. Waterloo. The memorial service will be held on Saturday January 23, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Calvary United Church, 48 Hawkesville Road, St Jacobs. Reception will follow in the church hall.
