<h1>Luisa Prioreschi</h1> 1937 – 2009 Maria Luisa De Cian Prioreschi passed away with her husband and daughter at her side on Monday, January 19, 2009 at the Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 71. Devoted wife of Sauro Prioreschi for 47 years. Beloved mother and friend of Alessandra Prioreschi. She will be missed by her granddaughter Julia Clare Prioreschi who is four years old and loved her Nonna very much. Lovingly remembered by her sisters Lidia Rosa De Cian Urago of Italy and Vittoria De Cian Trevisoi of Switzerland; sister-in-law Sara Prioreschi Giorgi and her husband Alvaro; brother-in-law Mario Prioreschi and his wife and friend of Luisa, Bruna Nicoli Prioreschi as well as her sisters-in-law in Italy, Maria Grazia Prioreschi Scapin and Gabriella Prioreschi Massignani. Luisa was loved by her nieces and nephews, Massimo Prioreschi, Nadia Prioreschi, Cinzia Giorgi Scapin and Vania Giorgi Plastina and their families as well as many more in Italy. Luisa was a bright, vibrant individual who was both kind and giving. Her caring heart could be seen as she volunteered her time for the past eight years as a driver and assisting with and participating in the Relay For Life with the Canadian Cancer Society. She also loved to sing and was active along with her husband in the Coro Cantitalia Choir (Guelph) and the Coro Allegria Choir (Kitchener). She was actively involved for three years as a Director of the Seniors’ Association of the Italian Cortina Club in Kitchener. During her working years she was also the President of Masa Technologies after being employed at Electrohome in Kitchener and Cambridge. Friends are invited to share their memories of Luisa with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, January 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will take place at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 173 Lourdes St., Waterloo, on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. Edward Sheridan as celebrant. Following the service, friends and family are invited to the Parish Hall for refreshments and a time to visit.
