<h1>Floyd Henrich</h1> 1925 - 2008 Born in Elmira, passed away, peacefully January 19, at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, Ontario, surrounded by his family. Floyd was predeceased by his wife Helen in 1993, and will be lovingly remembered by son Dave and his wife Sue, daughter Nancy Rosamond and her husband Keith, and special “Poppa” to granddaughter Vicki Henrich. Dad proudly served overseas from 1943 – 1946 with the RCAF as Lancaster Aircrew, 433 Squadron in England. Dad was then employed as a Design Engineer at BF Goodrich (Epton) King St., Kitchener for over forty years until his retirement in 1989. Member of the Lancaster Jazz Club, the 404 Wing, and Waterloo Lodge 539. Dad will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his wit and his wisdom, and the good times with family and friends. “Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings” In honour of Dad's personal wishes there will be no visitation, and a private family service has taken place. Interment will take place in Union Cemetery, Elmira.
