Obituary of Patricia Slater

<h1>Patricia "Pat" Slater</h1> 1954 – 2007 Passed away at home, after a long illness, at her residence on Thursday, January 18, 2007. Cherished daughter of Marian Schooley. Loving mother of Christa Slater and grandmother of Austin Slater. She will be remembered by her sister Jane, brothers Gary and Paul. Predeceased by her husband Jim Slater. Pat’s family very much appreciate the long-standing support Pat received from Dr. Richard Tiegs, and the more recent support of Nurse Practitioner Suzy Young, and Brother John. We also thank the health care teams in the Pulmonary Units at St. Mary’s Hospital and the Freeport Health Centre as well as the Health Ministry and Pastoral Teams at St. Louis RC Church. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at 10 a.m. at St. Louis RC Church, 53 Allen Street East in Waterloo with Rev. Bernie Hayes CR as celebrant. Cremation will follow. Family and friends are invited for refreshments in the church hall immediately following the funeral mass.
