<h1>Dorothy Schaefer</h1> 1916 - 2010 Passed away at The WestMount, Kitchener, on Sunday, January 17, 2010, at age 93. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Schaefer (1997); loved mother of Terry and his wife June; cherished grandmother of Christopher and Stephen; dear sister of Helen McGregor of Tavistock. Predeceased by her parents, William Wilker and the former Flora Herman, her brother Lloyd Wilker and his wife Dorothy, and her brother-in-law Howard McGregor. Dorothy was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Waterloo. Educated as a teacher, she also served as President of the L.C.W. of the Eastern Canada Synod as well as President of the Ladies Auxiliary of Waterloo Lutheran Seminary. Friends are invited to share their memories of Dorothy with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 22 Willow St., Waterloo, on Friday, January 22, 2010 at 2 p.m. Reception to follow. Spring interment in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Tavistock.
