<h1>Betty Weinstein</h1> 1933- 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Betty Ellen Weinstein at the Pinehaven Nursing Home on Thursday, January 17, 2008. She will always be remembered by her beloved husband Joseph and by her loving children: John and Debbie Weinstein, of Kitchener, Richard and Diane Weinstein, of Kitchener, Paul and Lorie Weinstein, of Wellesley, Gary and Kim Emerson, of Waterloo, Lori Weinstein of Kitchener, Mary and Mike Hett of Salem and Ricky Miller of Waterloo. Betty will be sadly missed by her cherished grandchildren Todd, Chad, Aaron, Leanne, Shelley, Joey, Josh, Daniel, Chris and Amanda, and by her two great-grandchildren Treyton and Brooklyn. Betty is predeceased by her parents Fenton and Eunice Wakeford of Listowel and grandson Kyle Adam. Betty earned the love of so many people in her lifetime and she will forever be remembered for the work, the time and the love she put into fostering children through Family and Children Services. She opened her home and her heart to many, many children over a span of 30 years. Betty was a member of the Catholic Women’s league and an active member in the Waterloo Knights of Columbus Seniors Group. Her life has been full and she has left an amazing legacy in her family and friends. She will always be part of our hearts and we will be left to carry on her generous, caring ways. Betty will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Friends are invited to share their memories of Betty with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Saturday, January 19, 2008 from 2 - 4 pm only and Sunday, January 20 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held Sunday evening at 8:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agatha RC Church on Monday, January 21, 2008 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Charlie Fedy, C.R. as Celebrant. An interment in St. Agatha RC Cemetery, in the spring. A reception will follow at the Waterloo Knights of Columbus, 145 Dearborn Place, Waterloo. Condolences for the family and donations to the Heart &amp; Stroke Foundation , the Canadian Diabetes Association or St. Agatha RC Church may be arranged through the funeral home, 519.745.8445 or www.erbgood.com. In living memory of Betty, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning program by the funeral home. The Weinstein family wishes to thank Dr. Pope and all the staff at the Pinehaven Nursing Home for the excellent care and love Betty received.
