Margaret went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at the age of 89, while residing at Sunnyside Home.
Predeceased by her husband Walter in 1995. Cherished and much loved mother of Betty Perrin Snyder and her husband Gil of St. Clements and Karen Shoemaker of Cambridge. Wonderful Oma of Christopher Perrin and Mathew Snyder. Margaret is fondly remembered by many relatives in Germany and Ontario.
Margaret was born in Germany the youngest of seven children and only family member to immigrate to Canada. She married her husband Walter in 1951 and moved to Kitchener in 1958. Margaret was a longtime member of Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kitchener. She co-owned and operated Fashion Lane Ladies Wear in Waterloo but most of all enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Laurel Creek area at Sunnyside Home for their wonderful care and kindness to Margaret over the past 4 ½ years.
Visitation will be held at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo, on Friday, January 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Margarets life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 1:30 pm with Rev. William Gillisie officiating. A reception will be held after the service at the funeral home followed by interment at Woodland Cemetery.

In living memory of Margaret, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
