<h1>George Klie</h1> 1922 – 2008 Passed away peacefully with his daughters at his side on Sunday January 13, 2008 at Lanark Heights in Kitchener at age 85. George will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Nancy (Fraser) Gibson, Janet (John) Zryd, Barbara (Barry) Smith, Cathie (Bruce) Ritter and son-in-law Bob (Gertrude) Stevens. Proud grandfather of Scott (Jasmine) Gibson, Sara (Ross) McDermott, Jenny Stevens, Andrea Sidwell, Bradley &amp; Brent Smith, and Nickolas Mula and great grandfather to Ella McDermott and Sam Sidwell. George was predeceased by his wife Eva, daughter Peggy Stevens and brothers Vernon, Carl, Harry and Fred. He is survived by his sister June Kropf and brother John Klie. George farmed his entire life in the Bridgeport area. He was a lifetime member of Bridgeport United Church and Bridgeport Lions Club. George enjoyed bowling, fishing, golf and horseshoes. Family and friends are invited to share their memories of George with his family during memorial visitation at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S. Waterloo on Friday January 18th, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The memorial service to celebrate George’s life will be held at Bridgeport United Church, 40 Bridge St. W. Kitchener on Saturday January 19, 2008 at 2p.m. Cremation has taken place. Interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
