<h1>Maria Mathes</h1> 1908 – 2010 Passed away at The WestMount, Kitchener, on Monday, January 11, 2010, in her 102 year. Predeceased by her husband Johann Mathes with whom she shared 76 years of life together. Survived by her daughters Maria Gondosch and Katharina Stoof; her three grandchildren Trudy (Peter) Tschoepe, Michael (Ann) Gondosch and Robert (Kim) Gondosch; seven great-grandchildren, Michael, Sandra, Robert, Karin, Rebecca, Breanna and Victoria and Devon, her great-great-granddaughter. Predeceased also by her sons-in-law Michael Gondosch and Barth Stoof. Maria was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Kitchener. Friends are invited to share their memories of Maria with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Wednesday, January 13, 2010, from2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, January 14, at 1 pm. Interment at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Kitchener. Following the burial friends are invited back to the Funeral Home for a time of reception and a chance to share stories with the family. Maria’s family wishes to thank the nursing staff and care givers at the WestMount, Forest Hills, for the wonderful care given to her during her time there.
