<h1>Ewald Stobbe</h1> 1927 - 2007 Passed away peacefully at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on January 11, 2007 at the age of 79 years. Cherished husband of Beate. Loving father of Karl and his wife Julie, Rita Astles and her husband John and Mary Stobbe. Proud grandfather of Stephanie, Laura and Adam Stobbe and Brooke and Monica Astles. Survived by his sisters Maria Isaak and Luise Rempel. Predeceased by his brother Henry Stobbe. Friends are invited to share their memories of Ewald with his family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home 171 King Street South in Waterloo on Sunday, January 14, 2007 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Ewald’s life will be held at W-K United Mennonite Church, 15 George Street, Waterloo, on Monday, January 15, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Werner Fast and Pastor Nancy Brubaker officiating. Interment will follow in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Following the committal service, friends are invited to join the family at the church for refreshments and a time to visit.
