Obituary of Mary Merner

<h1>Mary Merner</h1> (nee Fischer) 1926 – 2010 Mary passed away, peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Forest Heights Long-Term Care Centre on Thursday, February 4, 2010, in her 84th year. Predeceased by her husband, Robert Merner in 1968; her son, Patrick in 1964; and her daughter, Beverly Ermel in 2002. Mary is survived by her sister, Audrey (Jack) Schlieman. Loving mother of Karen (James) Schnarr, Kimberly Greenaway, Robert (Diane) Merner, and Robin (Fred) Walker; grandmother of 11; great-grandmother of 12; and great-great-grandmother of one. Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Mary during a memorial visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 12 noon to 1:45 p.m. The memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m., Saturday. Family and friends are invited to the interment at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener followed by a reception at the funeral home.
