<h1>Ralph Schnarr</h1> 1927 – 2009 Passed away peacefully, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Tuesday, February 03, 2009 at age 81. Beloved husband of Bernice for 59 years; loved father of Evelyn (Mak), Wayne (Dawn), Ted (Donna), Gary (Carole), Cathy (Steve), Greg (Sheryl), and Jeff (Tammy); loving grandfather of Sam, Sarah, Robert (Jenn), Matthew, Kevin, Tamara, Amanda (Dave), Michael, Steven, Dean, Samantha, Caitlin, Ashley, Amanda, Trevor, Patrick, and Jacob; great-grandfather of Dalton, Joshua, and Meghan; dear brother of Lorne, Leonard (Loretta), and Morris (Joan); dear brother-in-law of Edna. Predeceased by parents, Edward &amp; Alma (Hergott), brothers, Howard, Albert, and Arnie, sisters-in-law, Rose, and Dorothy,and granddaughter Hana. Ralph loved his family and enjoyed every opportunity to get together with them. Some of Ralph’s favourite times were spent with family and friends at the cottage on Conestogo Lake where you could always see him encouraging everyone to stop by. He enjoyed curling, horseshoes and cards. Ralph retired after 40 years in the cattle industry, first with Waterloo Cattle Breeder’s Association which was later known as United Breeders. He loved his job and visiting the many farmers in and around this area. Ralph was very faithful to his religion and has been a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus. In his later years Ralph enjoyed his computer friends and his many card friends. He will be deeply missed by all. Friends are invited to share their memories of Ralph with his family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be held at 8:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael’s RC Church, 240 Hemlock St., Waterloo on Friday, February 6, 2009 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Cornelius J. O’Mahony as Celebrant. Interment in Parkview Cemetery followed by a reception in the Parish Hall.
