Connie passed away suddenly at her home in Kitchener, on Thursday, February 28, 2008, in her 68th year.
Connie is survived by her loving husband and life partner Neill of 49 years. Forever remembered and loved by her children Keith and Donna, Jerri and Paul Smith, Darren and Peggy. Connie is the cherished grandma of Joleen (Chase), Jodie (Andre), Raquel, Robbie, Terilyn and Danny. She is also survived by her brother Bob Schmidt and wife Doris, her sister Joan McMichael and husband Bob and her sister-in-law Rose Schmidt. Connie is also remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Edna (Herter) Schmidt and brothers Gary and Edward Schmidt.
Connie recently retired from Keyman Engravables at Fairview Park Mall after 30 years of service. Connie will also be missed by her many close friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Connie during visitation at The Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo, on Tuesday, March 4 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service to celebrate Connies life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 11 am. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home. Cremation and a private family interment will follow.
