<h1>Elvira Geisel</h1> (nee Witzel) 1911 – 2007 Passed away peacefully at Trillium Court Nursing Home, Kincardine, on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at the age of 95 years. Elvira worked at K-W Orphanage from 1943 to 1949 and later worked with Superior Box (Domtar) for 27 years until her retirement in 1976. She was a lifetime member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and later attended Grace Lutheran in Kincardine. She loved playing cards, especially Solo, at the Seniors Centre in Waterloo. She is survived by her two daughters and a son, Jean (Gord) Murray of Kincardine, Don (Betty) Geisel of Waterloo, and Barbara (Jerry) Saunders of Hepworth, her 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and four great-great- granddaughters. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred Carl Geisel in 1959, her grandson Dale Murray in 1977. Friends are invited to share their memories of Elvira with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Friday (today) March 2, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 3 at 3:30 pm in the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Kurt Lantz officiating. Private family interment at St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Manheim in the Spring.
