Surrounded by his family, Jack passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27, 2009, at Lanark Heights Long Term Care Centre, Kitchener, at the age of 79 years.
Jack, a retired employee of Coca-Cola, was known for his gentle and caring spirit and jovial personality that always filled his life with many friends and family who will miss him dearly.
Jack will always be remembered as the: devoted husband of Yvonne for 52 years; cherished son of Irene, and late father, Laurier; loving father of Dan, Marc (Gina), Rick (Denise), Jack (Marilyn), Lisette Boisvert-Sine (Ian) and Michelle Taylor (Cliff); adored grandfather of Everett, Tristan, Elise, Henry, Josh, Kevin, Eric, Dilan, Isabelle, Eliza, Wesley, BJ, Christopher, Zachary, Jacob, Hannah, Madelaine, Lynne and Amy.
Jack will be sadly missed by his siblings: Ed (Vivian), Don (Sandra), Joanne and Robert.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Jack with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at 8:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, 53 Allen Street East, Waterloo on Wednesday, March 4 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Tim Uniac, C.R. presiding and Rev. Robert Liddy, C.R. as con-celebrant. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo, followed by a reception in the Fireside Room of Erb & Good Family Funeral Home.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Lanark Heights for the care and compassion provided during Jacks time with them.
