Passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26 at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener. She was 86.
Beloved mother of son Richard and daughter-in-law Ruth MacLeod of Toronto and son John and partner Fern Pare of Welland. Loving Nana of granddaughter Claire Helen May of Toronto.
Predeceased by Dick Levick, her husband of 56 years; brother William, of Simcoe, Ontario, and parents, Percy and Johann Richardson, also of Simcoe.
A wizard in the kitchen, a keen bridge player, an avid gardener and a wonderful hostess, Mays kind and generous spirit will be sorely missed by her family and many friends in Kitchener-Waterloo and across Canada.
A memorial visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Church of the Holy Saviour, 33 Allen St. East, Waterloo on Thursday, March 5 at 11:00 a.m. with the Venerable Peter T. Townshend officiating. A private family interment will follow at a later date.
