<h1>Ron Sauve</h1> 1949 – 2010 Passed away on February 22, 2010 at the age of 60 years. Survived by special friend Marg McSorley of New Hamburg; brother, Doug and wife Jane of Kitchener; children, Stephen and partner Loretta of Hamilton, Ontario, Renee and partner Jean-Francois of Victoria, B.C., Drew and friend Nancy of Sydney, Australia. Predeceased by parents Gladys and Rene. Ron was a local businessman in real estate and active volunteer in the KW area. Proud member of the Rotary Club, involved in its benevolence, devoted past president of Fathers for Justice and its advocacy as well as an active member of Parents without Partners for several years. Personally Ron was proud of his French Canadian heritage, a cancer survivor who experienced a rebirth of life as well as a talented ballroom dancer, skier, fisherman and dog trainer to his dogs Rufus and R2D2. Foremost, Ron was a fine gentleman, loving and devoted father and friend to all. Honoring Ron's request cremation has taken place. There will be a Roast and Toast to celebrate Ron's life from 6:30 onwards tonight (Thursday Feb. 25) at 39 Laschinger Boulevard, New Hamburg. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
