<h1>Edward Lubitz</h1> Edward H. Lubitz, of Kitchener, passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital on Monday February 23, 2009. He was 4 days shy of his 93rd birthday. Eddie will be remembered by his son, Ed and his wife Kathy. Loving grandfather of David and his wife Rebecca of Kitchener and Erin Bootie and her husband Timothy of Koengen, Germany. Will be sadly missed by four great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, Nellie, to whom he was married for over 50 years, and his brother, Arthur. Eddie served as an instructor pilot in the Second World War British Commonwealth Air Training Program. After the war, he made his living in the local furniture industry. He retained his interest in flying, and after his retirement he could usually be found at the airport. Friends are invited to share their memories of Eddie with his family at the farm on April 5, 2009, from 1-4 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
