<h1>Roy Seip</h1> 1919 – 2009 Peacefully surrounded by his family at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Monday, February 23, 2009. Roy was born on a farm near Wallenstein on May 6, 1919 and was 89 years young. He was married to Phyllis (nee Salm) on February 10, 1945 and together at home they recently celebrated their 64th anniversary. Devoted father of Judy (Richard) Gleiser of Owen Sound and Georgi Seip (Scott Hubley) of Nova Scotia. Lovingly remembered by his 9 grandchildren. Also survived by his sister Gladys Pokrywka, brother Donald (Nancy) Seip and brother-in-law Harry Stroh. He is predeceased by his daughter Bonnie Jane, sister Doris Stroh, brothers Russel (Shirley) Seip and Harold (Lillian) Seip, brother-in law Don Pokrywka, and by his parents Arthur Seip and Bertha (nee Voll). Roy was a great lover of sports, playing horseshoes and bowling for many years. He was an avid baseball, hockey and wrestling fan. Visitation will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Roy’s life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 1 p.m., the Rev. Becky Klages officiating. Interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Reception to follow the interment. Donations in memory of Roy can be made to the Heart &amp; Stroke Foundation, the Kidney Foundation or St. John’s Lutheran Church and may be arranged through the funeral home, 519-745-8445 or www.erbgood.com.
