Doreen passed away, peacefully, at Lisaard House on Sunday, February 22, 2009, in her 86th year.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Jerry Conner in 1971. Loving mum of Barbara Barr (Dr. David), Wendy Campbell (Brian), and Linda Gilkes (Don). Dear Nonnie to Lisa Zemek (Darryl), Chad Cullen, Jeremy, Jason, and Jessica Campbell, Lori McLean (Glenn), and Adam Gilkes and great-grandma of Calvin Zemek. Survived by her brother, Verne Eagle.
Predeceased by her sister, Betty McPetrie and sister-in-law, Mary Hale.
Doreen was an active member of Church of the Holy Saviour in Waterloo and participated in many community activities.

Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Doreen during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, February 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Church of the Holy Saviour, 33 Allen St. E., Waterloo on Friday, February 27, 2009 at 11 am with The Venerable Peter T. Townshend officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service at the church.
In living memory of Doreen, a donation will be made by the funeral home to the Trees for Learning Program.
