<h1>Gilbert Weiler</h1> 1931 - 2009 Gilbert passed away, suddenly at his home in Kitchener, on Saturday, February 21, 2009, at the age of 77. Dear father of Debbie Bauman and husband Paul of Innerkip, Cynthia Dannemann and partner Keith Fazekas of Kitchener, Brad of Brussels, Tim of Waterloo, John and wife Wendy of Kitchener, Marty and wife Felice of Chicago, David and wife Sherri of Atwood, James and wife Tracy of Kitchener, and Jennifer Schreiter and husband Stephen of Kitchener. Grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Brother of Joanne Lapp of Kitchener, Thomas (Donna) of California, Daniel (Patricia) of Kitchener, Susan Cressman (David) of Elmira, and Michael (Theresa) of Cambridge. Brother-in-law of Catherine Weiler of Waterloo. Predeceased by his parents, Martin and Mary Weiler; sisters, Helen Spaetzel and Theresa Elzby; brother, Patrick; brothers-in-law, Donald Lapp, Donald Spaetzel, and Teddy Elzby. As a proud home builder as well as building a large family, he will always watch over his children, grandchildren and great–grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, February 25 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 8:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Louis RC Church, 53 Allen St. E., Waterloo, on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 10 am with Rev. Tim Uniac CR as celebrant. Cremation to follow. Everyone is invited to a reception at the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home immediately following the mass. The family would like to thank Dr. Peter Kuhnert, staff and friends at Eby Village and Paul and Dave Murphy.
