<h1>Lena Snyder</h1> 1912– 2007 Lena died peacefully with her family at her side, at Parkwood Mennonite Home in Waterloo, on Wednesday, February 21, 2007. She was in her 95 year. She was the beloved wife of John W. S. Snyder, who together joyfully shared 66 years of marriage. Dear mother of Kathleen (Carl) Snyder of Bloomingdale, Stuart (Margaret Bell) Snyder of Conestogo, Brenda (John) Hagey of Cambridge and mother-in-law of Peggy Snyder of Waterloo. She will be lovingly be remembered by her grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Unrau, Bradley, Joanna Snyder, Kevin (Anne) Snyder, Kristine Snyder, Jeffrey (Jill) Snyder, Sheila Snyder &amp; Linford Clarke, Mark, Gregory, Brent, Nadine and Yves Hallman; great-grandchildren Owen, Leah, Addison, Michaella, Bronwyn, Blake, Trent, P.J. and Tiana. Sister of Naomi Hoffman of Kitchener, Valina and Viola Martin of Elmira, Lucinda Martin of Wichita, KA, Willard (Melba) Martin of Goshen, IN. and Floyd (Ethleen) Martin of Waterloo. She was predeceased by her parents Blendina (Gingrich) and Seranus Martin; son James (1991), son-in-law Peter Hallman (1999); sister Ida in infancy; brother Elmer and sister-in-law Mabel Martin and brother-in-law Ephriam Hoffman. Lena was a life long member of the Bloomingdale Mennonite Church, the WMCEC of the church and the Bloomingdale Women’s Institute. Friends are invited to visit with the family at Bloomingdale Mennonite Church on Saturday, March 3, 2007, from 10 am to 10:45 am. A memorial service to celebrate Lena’s life and faith will follow at 11 am in the church with Rev. Mary Mae Schwartzentruber officiating. Cremation has taken place.
