<h1>Alfred Pinnau</h1> 1944 – 2008 Alfred died peacefully at his residence, surrounded by the love of his family on Sunday morning, February 17, 2008. He was 64. Alfred is survived by his loving wife Maria and their family; cherished “Papa” of Eva and Darryl Kelly, Alfred, Martin and his wife Krystina, Christian and his wife Cynthia-Anne, Katalina and her friend Alexandre Pinot, Susanna and her fiancé Jason Glass, Michael Pinnau and Erika Freiherr. Opa will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Luke, Hunter, Edwyn and Markus. He is also survived by his brother Artur, his wife Rosina, and their family; mother-in-law Katharina Lindert and her family. He was predeceased by his parents Lina (Wenghof) and Eduard Pinnau and brothers Gerd, Hans and Eduard; and father-in-law Johann Lindert. Special thanks to Dr. Matthew Kilmurry, Dr. Avik Banerjee, Dr. André Moolman, Dr. Rebecca Lubitz, Dr. Jitka Vok, and the nurses on 5 North at GRH for their compassionate care. Friends are invited to celebrate Alfred’s life and share their memories with his family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Thursday, February 21, 2008 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Friday morning from 10 am to 10:45 am. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, February 22, 2008, at 11 am, with Randy Hirsch officiating. Following the committal service at the cemetery, friends and relatives are invited to the Transylvania Club for lunch and a visit with the family.
