Passed away peacefully, on Friday, February 15, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener. Mary was in her 85th year.
Mary was born in Preston, the daughter of the late Joseph Dumarczuk and the former Elizabeth Schlenko. She was a faithful parishioner at St. Agatha RC Church for the past 50 years, member and past president of the C.W.L. and held various positions over the years. Mary was a foster mother for over 30 years with Family and Children Services, within the Waterloo Region.
Beloved wife of the late Gordon Fisher (1996). Loving mother of Patricia and her husband Gerry McKenty of Kitchener, Brian and his wife Rosemary of St. Agatha, Allan and his wife Anne of St. Agatha, David and his wife Debra of New Hamburg and foster mother of Lynn Diebold of St. Clements.
Dear grandmother of Jason, Christine and Melissa McKenty, Jennifer, Jessica, Lisa, Hayley, Troy, Courtney and Megan Fisher, Cameron and Mark Diebold, and Caitlyn and Brad Rogers. Loving great-grandmother of Ava, Owen, Jack and Kieran. Cherished sister of Veronica Strome (Arthur) of Kitchener, Francis White (Robert) of Mississauga. Predeceased by her sisters, Josephine and Anne Dumarczuk, Sophie Aitken and brother, William Dumarczuk.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Mary with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Sunday February 17, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where Parish Prayers will be held at 8:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agatha RC Church on Monday February 18 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Charles Fedy as celebrant. Interment in St. Agatha RC Cemetery, Spring.
