Obituary of Wilda Carpenter

<h1>Wilda Carpenter</h1> (nee Krauel) Passed away peacefully after courageously enduring a long and difficult illness at Freeport Health Centre on February 13th at the age of 84. Wilda was a life long resident of Kitchener-Waterloo and was predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend of 55 years, Lloyd (2001), her parents William and Laura Krauel and her brothers Frank, Del and Paul. She is survived by her three loving children Pam MacGregor (Rob) of Brantford, Connie Zonghetti (Franco) of Waterloo and Scott Carpenter of Puslinch as well as her two cherished and loving grandsons Andrew and Richard MacGregor. Being an avid photographer Wilda along with her husband Lloyd enjoyed many years of world travel to numerous countries on four continents. She was a decades long member of Trinity United Church and its Mr. and Mrs. Club. A memorial service to celebrate Wilda’s life will be held in the chapel of Trinity United Church, 74 Frederick St. N., Kitchener on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 1 p.m. Immediately following the service, friends and relatives are invited for a time of remembrance and fellowship at the church. Special thanks to the nurses of Grand River’s South Court including and especially Helen, Anne Marie and Joanne for their kindness and care of Wilda.
