Passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at the age of 88.
He was born in Grabatz, Romania and emmigrated to Manitoba with his parents and brother at 10 years of age. Joe was the former co-owner of both the Cado Restaurant and the Hub Variety Store prior to his retirement in the mid 70s. He enjoyed a good part of his winter retirement years in Southwest Florida.
Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years Doris (nee: Wuertele), his children, Carol (Gordon) Armstrong, Nicholas (Susan) Dietrich, Diane (Bruce) Glencross, and his two grandchildren Jeremy and Leah Dietrich. Also survived by his brother Nicholas Dietrich.
At Joes request, no visitation will take place. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
