<h1>Jonathan Bishop</h1> February 23, 1985 – February 12, 2007 On February 12, 2007, Jon passed away peacefully at home, two years after being diagnosed with a brain tumour. Jon’s perseverance, positive attitude and faith were inspirational to those who walked this journey with him. He has left a legacy of love, laughter, and relationships for us to treasure. Jon is the son of Barry and Phyllis Bishop of Waterloo and brother of Dan and Melissa Bishop, of Kitchener, and David and Nikki Bishop of Kelowna, B.C. Grandson of Ed and the late Gladys Bishop of Penticton, B.C., and the late Orton and Irene Koch. Nephew of Doreen and Jim Houston, Glenn and Enid Slabaugh, Lloyd and Erla Koch, Dale and Rhoda Gingerich. Cousin of Rob and Monica Houston, Tom and Nancy Houston, Dorothy Houston, Sonya and Gary Yoder, Dana Slabaugh, Angie Koch, Cindy and Lyle Hemingway, Jamie and Rose Koch, Greg and Amanda Gingerich, and Cheri and David Wolfrom. Special friend of Carrie Henrich of Kitchener. Friends are invited to share their memories of Jon with his family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Jon’s life and faith will be held at Erb Street Mennonite Church, 131 Erb Street West, Waterloo on Thursday February 15, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo followed by a reception in the church fellowship hall. Special thanks to the many caring health professionals at the London Regional Cancer Centre, Community Care Access Centre and the Grand River Hospital.
