<h1>Jean Barnes</h1> 1925 – 2007 At St. Mary General Hospital, Kitchener, on Thursday, February 1, 2007, in her 82nd year. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Barnes; sister, Delores and her husband Gilbert Viens of Waterloo; brothers, Herb Buckingham of Kitchener, Roy Buckingham and his wife Sue of Dover, Fl.; and step-children, Bill and his wife Carol Barnes, Gloria Caldwell, Jack and his wife June Barnes, Bonnie Brown and Ken Barnes and their families. She was predeceased by her husband, Douglas Barnes; brothers, Harold and Charles Buckingham and parents, Marie (Halter) and Roy Buckingham. Friends are invited to share their memories of Jean with her family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Monday, February 5, 2007 from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, at 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place and interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Kitchener. Following the service, friends and relatives are invited to the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home for refreshments and a time to visit with the family. Condolences for the family and donations to The Lung Association Waterloo Region would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and may be arranged through the funeral home. In living memory of Jean a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
