<h1>Bruce Ferguson</h1> 1950 – 2006 After a courageous 14 month battle with cancer, peacefully with his family by his side, on December 9, 2006, at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, at the age of 56 years. Sadly missed by his loving wife Pamela (nee Balabanski); and daughters, Candace (Jeff) Nicholls, and Carol (Kyle) Lougheed. Grandfather of Jack, Carlee, Johnny, and Christian. Survived by his father William Ferguson; brother, John (Lynn) Ferguson; sisters, Jean Jones, and Muriel (Greg) Walker; father-in-law, Lorry Balabanski; brothers-in-law, Philip and Paul (Penny) Balabanski. Lovingly remembered by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by his mother Winnifred Ferguson; and mother-in-law, Margaret Balabanski. Bruce grew up in Schomberg, Ontario where he attended King City High School. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Guelph he was a longtime employee of DOW AgroSciences, and prior to that Rohm &amp; Haas. In his spare time he was a devoted sports fan, and enjoyed playing hockey, baseball and golf. The family wishes to extend their sincerest thanks to all of the doctors and nurses at the K-W Health Centre that cared for Bruce. Friends are invited to share their memories of Bruce with his family during memorial visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday, December 13 from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, December 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The memorial service to celebrate Bruce’s life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, December 15, 2006 at 2 p.m. Reception to follow.
