Obituary of Nancy Oliver

Nancy Oliver

November 4, 1924 - December 31, 2009
It is with great sadness to announce the peaceful passing of Nancy in her 86th year, while surrounded by her loving family by her side. Beloved wife, mom, grandmother and mother in-law and predeceased by her husband Jim in 1999 whom she was married for 46 years and parents Marjorie (McClure) and Norman Alexander of Uxbridge, Ontario and brothers James, Mac and sister Isabelle. Loving Mom of Ginny, Jamie (Deb), Peter (Tracy) and Norman (Lisa). Proud Nana to Jason and Angus and Aunt to Mac and Rick.
Mom was always recognized as kind and caring towards everyone, including her loving, encouraging and positive support to her family over the years, which has left all of us with wonderful memories and impacted our lives in such a positive way. The center of her life was her family and we were blessed with such a wonderful mother. Nancy grew up with fond memories of family and friends within Uxbridge, Ontario where the Alexander family was well known, respected and recognized as a big part of the community and she was a faithful, active and devoted Anglican over many years. Nancy's caring nature, genuine interest and love of her family will be sadly missed. She will be forever remembered and loved.
The Oliver family acknowledges with sincere appreciation, the understanding, prayers and many acts of kindness extended during this time of bereavement. The family is very thankful for the wonderful love and care from The Village of Winston Park Nursing Home-Assisted Care.
