Obituary of J. Alex MacKenzie

<h1>J. Alex MacKenzie</h1> 1921 – 2008 Formally of St. John’s Newfoundland, passed away peacefully, at the Village of Winston Park, Kitchener, on Wednesday, December 31, 2008, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Marion S. (Snow) MacKenzie. Dear father of Janet Girodat and her husband Edmund of Waterloo, Ken MacKenzie and his wife Lynn of Brights Grove, Bob MacKenzie and his wife Kim of Newmarket and Chris MacKenzie and his wife Linda of Waterloo. Much loved Gramps of Michelle Paleczny and her husband Ron, Alisha Paleczny and her husband Larry, James, Heather, Steven, Michael, Andrew, Lyndsay, Anna and Connor; and also his three great-grandchildren Julia, Thomas and Victoria. Predeceased by his brother and five sisters. Friends are invited to share their memories of Alex with his family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Saturday January 3, 2008, from 2:30 – 3:15 p.m., followed by a memorial service in the chapel of the funeral home at 3:30 p.m. Following the service all are invited to the Fireside Reception Room of the Funeral Home for refreshments and a time to visit. Interment of cremated remains will take place in Clearwater Florida at a later date.
