<h1>Albert "Rex" Morris</h1> 1923 – 2008 Passed away suddenly and without suffering, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at the age of 85 years. Rex was retired from a career with Noranda Mines Ltd. Working in ventilation engineering and later the foundry division. His love and passion for the game of golf was exceeded only by his love for family and his country. Rex is survived by his beloved wife Mary, daughter Gayle Morris of Kingston, son Gary and his wife Linda Morris and grandchildren Vanessa and Joshua all of Peterborough. He is also survived by his brother Fred (Mag) Morris and sister Rebecca Downing. He is predeceased by his brothers John, Lee, Rollie and Harvey and his sisters Irene and Mag. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the Waterloo Wellington CCAC, the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre, the staff of Freeport Extendicare, Dr. Paul Ian Denbeigh, and to Rob and the staff of Erb &amp; Good for their care and compassion during such a difficult time. Cremation will take place and a private family memorial will be held in Peterborough at a later date.
